EP 69 //Unplugging to Connect: Navigating Parenthood, Faith, and Technology with S.S. Coulter
Hey Sweet Friends!
I’m so excited to tell you about my latest podcast episode. I had this incredible chat with Shannon Coulter - you might know her as S.S. Coulter, the amazing children’s author. We dove into some really important stuff that I think you’ll love.
In this episode we tackle the big challenge of parenting in our tech-obsessed world. You know how we’re always stressing about screen time? Well, Shannon’s got some fantastic ideas to help us find peace by getting our kids off those devices and into their imaginations.
But we didn’t just talk about the kiddos. We got real about personal growth too. We chatted about how to reframe failure (something I’m always working on!), the importance of having a clear life vision, and how to shine our light for Jesus in everything we do.
I loved how Shannon and I connected on aligning our values with our life vision. We shared some practical tips for boosting creativity in our kids and finding that elusive parental peace through offline activities.
Whether you’re a parent (or grandparent) trying to navigate the digital age or just someone looking to deepen their faith journey, I think you’ll find some real nuggets of wisdom in this conversation.

All my love, Erin Jean
